There’s something paralyzing about not knowing where to start.
You look around at the mess — emotionally, physically, spiritually — and the voices creep in:
“It’s too late.”
“You should already be further along.”
“What’s the point?”
And just like that, you stay stuck. Overwhelmed. Frozen in fear and fatigue.
But let me tell you something that changed my life:
You don’t start with a plan. You start with a belief.
You start with mindset.
Becoming Her — becoming the healed, grounded, confident version of you — doesn’t begin with routines or journals or checklists. It begins with something deeper.
It begins with the belief that change is possible.
That you are possible.
You have to believe that peace is accessible. That joy isn’t something reserved for other people. That you don’t have to earn worthiness — it’s already yours.
Before I ever got sober… before I rebuilt my life… before I stood in the mirror and said “I like her,” —
I had to decide that I could.
And that decision was everything.
Yes, we need practical tools.
Yes, we need structure and healing and support.
But none of it matters if your mind is already telling you, “This won’t work for me.”
That’s why when you’re overwhelmed, you don’t need to start with action.
You start with belief.
That’s the Becoming Her mindset.
That’s the whisper that says:
“Maybe… just maybe… I don’t have to stay where I am.”
Shift First. Start Small.
If your life feels like it’s in pieces — if you’re waking up with anxiety or going to bed in guilt — please don’t beat yourself up for not knowing how to fix it all. You’re not supposed to know.
You’re supposed to start with belief:
- I believe change is possible.
- I believe I am worthy of peace.
- I believe I don’t have to stay here.
And from that place? You rise. You rebuild. You become.
Journal Prompt:
What would I do differently today if I truly believed I was worthy of change?
Gentle Note from Me to You:
Becoming Her isn’t about perfection.
It’s about progression.
It’s about showing up when your hands are shaking, and your heart is heavy — but still whispering,
“I’m ready to become.”And you are.
Right now, with all of it.
Overwhelm and all.
